Hi everyone. I'm here for the first time. My Spanish is little to zero. I'd like to know if I need to put the accents on the words that are all in capital letters. For ex: ANOS (year).años. Thanks.
Words that need "TILDES" must carry them always. For example: "gramática o GRAMÁTICA", "ortografía, ORTOGRAFÍA",...
The case of letter Ñ is specially important. Don't confuse the letter N and the letter Ñ. They are different. If you write AÑO, you write YEAR in English. If you write ANO, you write ANUS in English.
Thank you for the valuable info. I try to translate this poem, I'd appreciate if you give me suggestions.Humans as l'humanity, and elsewhere as somewhere out there.People came and people left La gente vino y gente dejada Elsewhere humans have arrived D'a otra parte los seres humanos han llegado or Vino gente y gente se fue De todas partes llegaron seres humanos..

People came and people left = la gente vino y se fue.
Elsewhere humans have arrived = en otros sitios han llegado personas.
